AITEC Uganda
The opportunity to create further linkages with African civil society is being pursued through a partnership with Advancing ICT Knowledge in Africa (AITEC) Uganda, which initiated Bellanet Africa in December 2004.
AITEC Uganda is an organization that has been at the forefront of a number of local, national and international knowledge sharing and information gatherings and has carried out research, published reports and moderated discussion groups in Uganda since 1998.
Groupsia International

Groupsia is an international initiative that builds on the work of Bellanet to foster organizational collaboration through more effective use of information and communication technologies. Groupsia works in the following program areas:
- Organizational and network strengthening - We work to help organizations understand their strengths and create vibrant collaborations.
- Technical Assistance - We specialize in hosting dialogues, web platforms, as well as social media research and solutions that help to strengthen partnerships amongst international groups, organizations and networks.
- Open Development - We believe that openness fosters stronger collaborations and transparency amongst organizations. We help to foster open standards and open source projects that provide additional tools for international organizations.
- ICT Research and Policy Advice - We provide research into new emerging ICT and communications media that can increase transparency and strengthen the impact of development programming.
South Asia Partnership International

SAP I is a South based, South led International NGO. As the coordinating body of South Asia Partnership Network, SAP - I facilitate solidarity between other community based organizations and issue based networks within South Asia. South Asia Partnership network comprises of six national member organizations based in Bangladesh, Canada, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The SAP - I secretariat works with a network of local and regional organizations to create and implement programs that will improve the state of human development in South Asia.
SAP - I has been involved with Bellanet for past 4 years and has been hosting the Asia secretariat of Bellanet Network. Together with Bellanet, SAP I has been working specifically in the areas of ICT Research and Innovation, ICT Capacity Building, appropriation of technology, digital commons and raising grassroots voices in the global information society

Sula Batsu
